"Sala Hin Boun" Wagscallion's photos about Kong Lor, Lao Peoples Dem Rep

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Kong Lor, Lao Peoples Dem Rep by TravelPod blogger Wagscallion titled "Sala Hin Boun" Wagscallion's travel blog entry: "We left Vientiane at 5am to catch the 6am bus from the out of town bus station and were glad when the bus finally moved off at 7am! So 13 hours after leaving our guesthouse in Vientane, we arrived at Sala Hinboun Guesthouse which is a collection of 'chalets' by the Hin Boun river in beautiful, private grounds. We chose a riverside room of course for the princely sum of 23 dollars (expensive, but well deserved) The reason for this outing was to visit the Kong Lor cave, a massive cave formed by the river Hin Boun burrowing its way through limestone - the river flows gently for 7.5 Km before emerging the other side of the mountain. We got a boat ...
